The Utilities Department is preparing to replace sewer mains
through the site this fall. Additionally design plans for a combined sewer overflow control facility at this
location will be completed by the end of the year. The cleanup of the site is intended to take place prior to
both of these construction projects.
In March the City Council approved an agreement to enter the Voluntary Cleanup Program at the Department
of Ecology for the Bond Street site. Kleinfelder has prepared bid documents for the cleanup of the Bond
Street Site.
RECOMMENDATION:
Authorize a Call for Bids for the Bond Street Site Cleanup.
15
