EXHIBIT A <br /> Scope of Work-2008 Bridge Inspection <br /> Our overall objective in our inspections and additional services to the City of Everett is to maintain public <br /> safety,determine maintenance requirements, and provide documentation,which will satisfy current <br /> WSDOT and FHWA standards. Furthermore,this work needs to be performed efficiently to provide an <br /> effective basis for the City to evaluate the existing condition of their structures and the cost of repair. <br /> The scope of work for this contract has six tasks.The following describes each task and its scope. The <br /> estimates of cost for performing these tasks are presented in Exhibit B,Task 2. <br /> Task 1—Records Review <br /> TRANTECH's Project manager will review the City's files and the Bridgeworks data to positively identify <br /> each bridge or drainage structure to insure that the records are correct and each are specifically described. <br /> Errors in the files and/or Bridgework will be corrected as needed. <br /> Task 2—Identify Inspection Locations <br /> Once TRANTECH has fmished Task 1 they shall finalize the list of inspection locations and provide the <br /> City's Project Engineer with a corrected list and a map of each bridge or structure location. Each location <br /> will be annotated with its name,bridge and structure number and its latitude and longitude. For budgeting <br /> the following list will be used as the basis of the proposed fee and any additional locations will be <br /> negotiated and paid for out of the management reserve.
