Five bids were received, as shown on the attached bid summary, with the lowest responsive and responsible bid submitted by KLB Construction, Inc., of Mukilteo, WA. This project provides the necessary grading and surcharge for the 41st St. extension and the grading and surcharge for phase 1 of the landfill site. This project will facilitate construction of a temporary bridge structure, placement of approximately 130,000 cubic yards of embankment/preload in Schedule A work, and 500,000 cubic yards of embankment/preload in Schedule B work.
