MVD and Purchasing estimate an initial need for three vans in 2008. Unlike other vehicles the <br /> City purchases there is no State Contract for these vans. <br /> Invitations to Bid were sent to 5 potential bidders, advertised in the Herald and posted on the City's web site. <br /> One responsive bid was received as outlined in the attached bid summary. <br /> Staff is recommending award to Dwayne Lane Dodge, Inc. for an amount of$118,575.78. <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Award Bid 2008-040 for three Sprinter Vans to Dwayne Lane Dodge, Inc in the amount of$118,575.78 <br /> including Washington State Sales Tax. <br /> A <br />
