The grant money will be used for advertising, food, services and decorations for 6 weeks of dance instruction and "Baby Boomer Bash" dance at the conclusion to attract the "Baby Boomer" population to the services provided by the Senior Activity Center. The contract term begins January 2008 to December 31, 2008 at no cost to the City of Everett. By authorizing the Mayor to sigh the necessary documents to accept the funds, the Everett Senior Activity Center will be able to accept the funds. There are no matching funds required. RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): Authorize the Mayor to sign the necessary documents with Snohomish County Human and the Everett Senior Center to accept the $7,500 grant award for 6 weeks of dance instruction to Seniors and concluding with the "Baby Boomer" dance at no cost to the City of Everett. 111
