15 <br /> EXHIBIT G <br /> BASIC TERMS AND CONDITIONS ADDENDUM <br /> Senior Center Projects <br /> Statements contained in the Contract Face Sheet notwithstanding, the following provisions <br /> hereby supplement the corresponding provisions contained in the Basic Terms and Conditions <br /> Agreement between the Contractor and Snohomish County. To the extent a provision herein <br /> does not have a corresponding provision in the Basic Terms and Conditions, that provision is <br /> hereby added to the Basic Terms and Conditions between the Contractor and Snohomish <br /> County. <br /> CONTRACTOR NOT EMPLOYEE OF SNOHOMISH COUNTY <br /> The Contractor and his or her employees or agents performing under this agreement <br /> are not to be deemed employees of the County, nor as agents of the County in any <br /> manner whatsoever. The Contractor will not hold himself or herself out as nor claim to <br /> be an officer or employee of the County or of the State of Washington by reason hereof <br /> and will not make any claim, demand, or application to or for any right or privilege <br /> applicable to an officer or employee of the County or of the State of Washington, <br /> including, but not limited to, Workers' Compensation coverage, Unemployment <br /> Insurance benefits, Social Security benefits, or retirement membership or credit. <br /> II. SERVICES PROVIDED IN ACCORDANCE WITH LAW, RULE AND REGULATION <br /> The Contractor and any subcontractors agree to abide by the terms of RCW Chapters <br /> 74.08, 74.34, 74.36 and 74.38, and any rules and regulations promulgated thereunder. <br /> All activities conducted under this agreement and under contracts pursuant to this <br /> Agreement shall be in accordance with all applicable laws, rules, ordinances, codes and <br /> regulations of local, state and federal governments, as now or hereafter enacted or <br /> amended. <br /> III. CLIENT GRIEVANCE PROCEDURE <br /> The Contractor shall establish a system through which applicants for and recipients of <br /> services under the approved plans may present grievances about the activities of the <br /> Contractor or any subcontractor(s) related to service delivery. The system shall provide <br /> applicants and recipients with an informal hearing before representatives of the <br /> Contractor. Clients served with State funds, including Senior Citizens Services Act and <br /> Social Services Block Grant, must be informed of their right to a fair hearing regarding <br /> service eligibility specified in WAC 388-02 and under the provisions of the <br /> Administrative Procedures Act, Chapter 34.05 RCW. <br /> 122 Exhibit G <br /> A-08-75-04-198 <br /> City of Everett <br /> Page 1 of 6 <br />
