EXHIBIT B <br /> SCOPE OF WORK <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> BHC Consultants, LLC will provide a broad spectrum of general engineering and <br /> management consulting ("GEC") services and technical expertise for leachate collection <br /> and conveyance facility improvements, stormwater quality treatment facilities, and <br /> sanitary sewer pumping, conveyance and connection to existing City facilities related to <br /> the development of the City's Riverfront Development Properties ("City Projects"). <br /> Activities to be performed under this contract may include the following: <br /> GEC Management—These activities are to provide for monitoring project progress, <br /> budget, and schedule; for preparing invoices, for developing and modifying scopes of <br /> work, and for coordination with other Riverfront Development design efforts. <br /> Preliminary Design—These activities will include preparation of preliminary designs <br /> and evaluation of alternatives for leachate collection facility improvements, groundwater <br /> cutoff facilities, leachate pumping and conveyance facility modifications, stormwater <br /> quality treatment facilities, and sanitary sewer pumping and conveyance facilities. <br /> Final Design—These activities will include further developing the preferred alternatives <br /> and preparing plans, specifications, and cost estimates of the improvements for use in <br /> obtaining construction bids and permits. <br /> Services During Bidding and Construction—These activities will include construction <br /> observation, responding to questions from the Contractor and City construction <br /> management personnel, preparing addenda, preparing change orders, submittal review, <br /> geotechnical review of field conditions, and startup assistance. <br /> Evaluation and Consultation regarding Development Proposals related to Leachate, <br /> Sanitary Sewer, and Stormwater Quality Facilities —These activities will include <br /> review and evaluation of OM proposals, and coordination with OM regarding site design <br /> impacts to the existing leachate control facilities and to proposed sanitary sewage <br /> pumping and stormwater quality treatment facilities. <br /> Contingency and Miscellaneous Tasks—These activities would include unanticipated <br /> work that may be required to address project changes or permitting requirements. <br /> C ,, <br />
