' ' . w EYERETT iirii ORDINANCE NO. 2018-94 AN ORDINANCE creating a special improvement project entitled "41st Street Off-Ramp and Broadway Intersection Improvements", Fund 303, Program 530, to accumulate all construction costs for the improvement project, and repealing Ordinance No. 1959-93. WHEREAS, the City of Everett has entered into an Agreement with the Washington State Department of Transportation for Federal ISTEA Hazard Elimination Program Funds to make improvements to the 41st Street off-ramp and the Broadway intersection; and WHEREAS, on September 1, 1993, Council passed Ordinance No. 1959-93, establishing Fund 303, Program 530, entitled "41st Street Off-Ramp and Broadway Intersection Improvements" to provide funding of construction costs associated with the project; and Whereas, based on the recommendations of traffic studies, increased funding, citizen input, other improvements, change orders and final construction costs there is a need to revise the existing Ordinance. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: A special improvement project is hereby established as Fund 303, Program 530, entitled "41st Street Off-Ramp and Broadway Intersection Improvements" to accumulate all costs for the improvement project. Section 2: Authorization is hereby given to accumulate costs and distribute payments from Fund 303, Program 530, for construction of the improvement project. Section 3: Authorization is hereby granted for the "Engineering/Public Services Director", under direction of the Mayor, to assume full and complete responsibility for conducting all tasks and doing all things to accomplish the actions authorized in this ordinance.
