,TiNrma EYERETT tg ORDINANCE NO. 1996-94 AN ORDINANCE creating a special improvement project entitled "19th Avenue S.E. and 110th Street S.E. Signal Reconstruction," Fund 355, to accumulate all costs for the improvement project, and repealing ordinance No. 1705-90. WHEREAS, the City of Everett has entered into an agreement with the Washington State Department of Transportation for Federal Hazard Elimination Program Funds to make improvements at the intersection of 19th Avenue S.E. and 110th Street S.E.; and WHEREAS, on July 18, 1990, Council passed Ordinance 1705-90 establishing Fund 355 entitled "19th Avenue S.E. and 110th Street S.E. Signal Reconstruction" to provide funding for design costs associated with the project; and WHEREAS, based on the design completion, other improvements and construction costs, there is a need to revise the existing ordinance; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: A special improvement project is hereby established as Fund 355, entitled "19th Avenue S.E. and 110th Street S.E. Signal Reconstruction" to accumulate all costs for the improvement project. Section 2: Authorization is hereby given to accumulate costs and distribute payments from Fund 355 for design and construction of the improvement project. Section 3: Authorization is hereby granted for the Engineering/Public Services Director, under direction of the Mayor, to assume full and complete responsibility for conducting all tasks and doing all things to accomplish the actions authorized in this ordinance. Section 4: The sum of$166,152 is hereby appropriated to Fund 355, "19th Avenue S.E. and 110th Street S.E. Signal Reconstruction" as follows: A. Estimated Project Costs Preliminary Engineering $18,400 Construction 147.752 Total Estimated Funds $166,152
