• <br /> EVE?ETT <br /> ORDINANCE NO. /980 93 <br /> AN ORDINANCE amending the appointment status of <br /> municipal court employees by amending <br /> Ordinance No. 1259-86, Section 5 (EMC <br /> 2 . 108 :050) . <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that municipal court clerks <br /> are no longer appointive officers; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: Section 5 of Ordinance No. 1259-86 (EMC <br /> 2 . 108 . 050) which reads as follows: <br /> Section 5: MUNICIPAL COURT EMPLOYEES. <br /> All employees of the municipal court shall, for <br /> all purposes, be deemed employees of the City of <br /> Everett. They shall be appointed by and serve at <br /> the pleasure of the judge of the Everett Municipal <br /> Court. Employees of the court shall be appointive <br /> officers pursuant to Section 4 . 4 of the Charter of <br /> the City of Everett and shall be entitled to all <br /> employee benefits related thereto. Said employees <br /> shall perform court-assigned duties in accordance <br /> with all policies and procedures established by <br /> the City of Everett <br /> is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> Section 5: MUNICIPAL COURT EMPLOYEES. <br /> All employees of the municipal court shall, for <br /> all purposes, be deemed employees of the City of <br /> Everett.
