-3 Q
A
Uj
R. L Rubaw ab- Boeing Commercial Airplane Group
Director of Facilities P.O. Box 3707, MS OH•28
Evenell Division Seattle, WA 98124.2207
November 26, 1990
T-6140-0-7,.6
Mr. K. C. Housdon
Public Works Director
City of Everett
3200 Cedar Street
Everett, WA 98201
Dear Mr. Housdon:
"OA//VG
I am writing to confirm to you that The Boeing Company
("Boeing") intends to:
(a) grant to the City of Everett (the "City") a
fifteen -foot wide easement for a water main line
approximately twenty-five feet in length;
(b) grant to the City of Everett (the "City") an
easement to include the fire protection vault
and water meter vault, plus an easement seven -
and -one-half feet in width around the perimeter
of each vault.
The grant of easements is conditioned upon (1) preparation
of a mutually satisfactory survey locating the easements;
and (2) execution by Boeing and the City of a mutually
satisfactory form of easement grant. Boeing will expect
the grant of easement to provide, among other things, that
Boeing will refrain from placing any future improvements
on the easement, and that the City, when it installs,
maintains, or repairs installation in the easement or
otherwise enters the easement, will restore any property
and/or landscaping damaged through the City's entry or
operations.
Finally, Boeing's commitment in this letter is given on
the understanding that it shall be the responsibility of
the City to supply all labor, material or other items
required for the "hoc tap" and final connection to the
existing water main, and for all friture repair or
maintenance of any improvements inside of the above
mentioned easements.
We look forward to working with you to finalize these
matters.
t utkowski
