The eastbound ramp from SR 526 <br />g <br />to Seaway Boulevard is predicted to deteriorate to Level -of -Service F by 1995. The <br />northbound and southbound ramps from SR526 to Interstate 5 also are predicted to <br />ZH <br />deteriorate to Level -of Service F by 1995. <br />gw H <br />Previous studies have recommended various improvements to these intersections to maintain <br />ty En <br />01 <br />acceptable levels -of -service. The improvements include signalization of the 60th Street SW/Seaway <br />Boulevard intersection, major widening of the 60th Street SW/Seaway Boulevard and Seaway <br />Boulevard/75th Street SW intersections, and improvements/additions to the SR 526/Seaway Boulevard <br />H o rrA <br />and SR 256/15 ramps. ' <br />The traffic volumes used in this report are based on the following traffic impact analyses done in the <br />southwest Everett area: <br />1. Powder Mill Highlands Residential Development, Transportation Planning & Engineering, Inc., <br />March 1989. <br />2. South Everett Area Residential Developments, Entranco Engineers, Inc., October 1988. <br />3. Intermee Corporate Headquarters, Entranco Engineers, Inc., February 1989. <br />These reports have recommended various transportation system improvements to maintain <br />acceptable levels -of -service in the future. The improvements recommended in the Powder Mill <br />vim, <br />Highlands Residential Development report are incorporated in the analysis performed as part of <br />+ <br />this report The improvements include: <br />a Widening of Seaway Boulevard from 60th Street SW to 75th Street SW. <br />.Addition of lanes and signals to Seaway Boulevard and 75th Street SW intersection. <br />. Signalization of 60th Street SW and Seaway Boua, .ard intersection. <br />The total cost associated with these imorovements is approximately 2 million dollars as estimated <br />in the Powder Mill Highlands traffic report. <br />The City of Everett has prepared a list of proposed road system improvement projects in the Paine <br />Field Transportation Benefit District. The improvements affected by site generated traffic in <br />addition to those identified previously are: <br />. Addition of an EB ramp lane at Seaway Boulevard and SR526 <br />. Signalization of Merrill Cr. Pkwy/Hardeson Rd. Intersection <br />. Signalization of Merrill Cr. Pkwy/Glenwood Ave. Intersection <br />All of the aforementioned intersections and/or roadway section improvements result in levels - <br />of -service of D or better. Table 2 presents the existing and 1995 levels -of -service to demonstrate <br />the impact of the project traffic. It is apparent that the most significant project impact is at the <br />Seaway Boulevard/Merrill Creek Parkway intersection. <br />
