City streets and alleys are to be kept clear of dirt and debris <br />at all times during construction. Dust suppression and street <br />cleaning must occur as directed by the Public Works Inspector. <br />2. Performance guarantees are required for the curb, gutter and <br />sidewalk. <br />3. Permits must be obtained for all fill removed from the site and <br />placed within the City limits. It takes about 35 days (a SEPA <br />review) to obtain permits for any specific site. There is <br />currently a lack of adequate permitted fill sites within the <br />City limits. <br />4. A one-year guarantee is required on the public street, utility <br />and site landscaping for an amount not less than 10% of the cost <br />of construction and shall run for one year from the date of <br />issuance of the first occupancy Permit for the project. <br />5. A two-year guarantee is required for private retention/detention <br />or other drainage treatment/abatement facilities serving areas <br />larger than one acre. <br />6. On -site watermain will be staked within an easement to the City. <br />The easement will be .submitted to the City prior to the issuance <br />of permits. <br />7. As-builts of storm sewer, sanitary sewer, and water systems will <br />be required to be submitted per City design and construction <br />standards and specifications. <br />8. The Police Department has the following security recommendations: <br />a. The perimeter doors should be solid core or metal with double <br />cyslinder deadbolts installed. If doors open to the outside, <br />or hinges are exposed, then pin hinges should be used. <br />b. Provide a monitored fire and intrusion alarm system zoned for <br />each entity. To provide protection in case of armed robbery, <br />include remote panic buttons and/or foot trip is using a <br />custormer counter. <br />C. If store front type glass doors are part of the project, they <br />need locking case bolts top and bottom; maximum security <br />deadbolt should be a 1-3/4" throw and 3/4" laminated steel. <br />d. Lighting of the parking lot should be a minimum of 1-2 foot <br />candles. <br />
