There aze two Category IV wetlands on site thet will require <br /> 25-foot buffers. The batch plant includes a Tcady mix structute aoproximately 40 feer in height, silos <br /> eontaining dry cement, a baghouse for dust control, a mixer, and a small office with a�proximntely 40 <br /> off-street pazking spaces. The silos are ]2 to 20 feer in diameter and are up to a5 fcet in height snd�rill <br /> be located on top of thc rc�dy mix swctu�e. The total height of the batch plant including appurtenonces <br /> H�ll bn up to 85 feet in hcight. App;o�cimately 10 acres of thc site will be used for the storage of bulk <br /> aggregate and soil products. Aggregate and sznd for the mixed concrete will be in stockpilcs up w ubout <br /> 40 fect in height. The batch plant «ill operatc by lovling raw materials (sand, aggrcgutc, weter and <br /> cement) from an ovenc�ad load-out faciliry to a mixer �uck. Received material will be moved into [he <br /> piles wich wheeled toaders nr stacl:inE com�eyots and moved across and into thc batch plant by au <br /> overhead "feed" comeyor. The batch plant will include stoimwater treatment ponds and a process water <br /> recycling system to minimize any potenrial for dischazge. It is estimated that the batch plant �vill handle I <br /> upptOxunately 200,000 cubic yazds of ready-mix conettte per yoar.
