Dracaings refer to compliaiice with local codes. It is incumbent upon the <br /> contractor to submit drawings which show how Ite proposes to comply with t:�e <br /> code. <br /> 4. frDracaings state the building complies with the Southern I3uilding Code. � <br /> The building shall comply with the *Jniform Building Code, 1973 Edition, <br /> including seismic zone 3. Dr�win�s shall sho�a how this load is <br /> resisted, especially the center column on the left of the plan which has a <br /> basement pier below it. The pier reinforcing does not appear to be suf- <br /> ficient for the applied moment. <br />
