On January 23,2008, <br /> Council authorized the Mayor to sign a Professional Services Agreement with Anchor Environmental,L.L.C.for <br /> $199,000.00 for consulting services to accomplish the Plan. <br /> The current proposal is to modify the scope of work to provide for the Subarea Plan to be prepared based on the <br /> Planning Commission/Parks Board recommendation to City Council,rather than to have it be prepared earlier in the <br /> process based on the Stakeholder Committee's preferred alternative. The additional cost to change the process is <br /> $10,779. The cost will be split evenly between the existing Parks and Planning Department's 2008 budgets. The <br /> amendment to the Grant Agreement with Ecology only amends the scope of work. <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Authorize the Mayor to sign Amendment 1 to Grant Agreement No. G0800312 between the State of <br /> Washington Department of Ecology and the City of Everett for the Marshlands Subarea Plan. <br />
