As a variance has b�en granted to allow a 7 foot setback from 44th i asked for property line stakes, but the contractor informed me that the location had been inspected by the Board of Adjustment and approved by them in granting the variance. I inspected the footings for size and steel and told the contractor that if he were to pour footings he would be responsible until property line corners were in place. i signed the report that the footings were O.K. A few days later I was asked to make a foundation inspection and in reporting to the job site observed that no property line stakes had been set. 2 contacted the owner and told him that property line deter- mination would be required; he called me a day iater and informed me that he had set the stakes. When I got there he had set lath as pro- perty line stakes. I contacted Mr. Van ber hfeerche and told him to have a survey performed by a professional land surveyor.
