(i) The City of Everett prohibits outdoor burning; therefore, outdoor <br /> burning for the purpose of disposing of construction debris or <br /> rubbish will not be permitted. <br /> (ii) 1'ire hydrants and access roads must be i:i service prior t� <br /> commeacement of construction and fire sai-ety practices during <br /> construction must Ge in compliance with Arcicle 87 of the Uuiform <br /> Building Code. <br /> (iii) Construction activlties te be in compliance with Unlform Fire <br /> Code, 1985 Edition, Article 87, "Fire Safe.ty During Constructlon." <br /> (iv) Apartment premises must be identified ac street entry, and each <br /> building and apartment is to be clearly identified so as to be <br /> visi6le and legible from the acceas roads. <br /> (v) Fire lanes must be provided as required in Everett Mu¢icipal Code <br /> 4.6.44. Red painted curbs with white stenciling of the words "NO <br /> PARKING - FIRE LANE" and vertical sigus stating "NO Pe�RKiNG - <br /> FIRE LANE - VIOLATORS �SAY BE TOWED" to I�e located as approved by <br /> the Fire Marshal. <br /> (vi) Any security fence erected around the cunstruction site must be <br /> located so as to not obstruct any exiating fire hydrants, other <br /> fire protection equipment, or any Fire Department access. If <br /> Fire Department access is obstructed, gates or other openings <br /> must be provided for accesa. <br /> 2. City streets and alleys are to be kept clear of dirt and debris at all <br /> times during construction. Dust suppression and street cleaning must <br /> occur as directed by the Pub11c Works Inspector. <br /> 3. Performance guaranteea are required for ttie curb, gutter and sidewalk. <br /> 4. A one-year guarantee is required on the publlc street, utility and site <br /> landscaping for an amount not lesa than 10% of the cost of conatruction <br /> and shall run for one year from the date of issuance of the first <br /> Occupancy Permit for the pro3ect. <br /> 5. On-site watermain wiil be staked withln an easement to the City. The <br /> easement will be submitted to the City prlor to the issuance of permits. <br /> 6, As-builts of storm sewer, sanitary sewer, and water systems will be <br /> required to be submitted per City design and construction standards and <br /> specifications. <br /> 7. The Police Department has the follawing security recommendations: <br /> a. The perimeter doors should be solid core with 190 degree to 220 <br /> degree wide angle viewers and single cylinder deadbolts with 1" <br /> throw and at least 3" screws securing striker plate. <br /> -5- <br />
