They are light and glare from a light fixture and removal of <br /> trees and natural vegetation from a Native Vegetation Buffer. <br /> Liqht & Glare: The liglit and glare complaint is from a light fixture that is aKixed <br /> to tlie 6ack side of your residence. The complaint states thaf the light irom this <br /> fixture projer.ts into tlie residential window of neighboring properties. The Cit�'s <br /> Land Use Code (Zoning Code 19.39.140) provides that any artificial surface <br /> wliich produces li5i�t orglare which annoys, injuries, endangers the health or <br /> safety of persons, or inteiferes with the use of property is a violation of this title. <br /> The City would like to enlist your coopeiation in remedying this problem by <br /> shielding tl�e light ir, sucli a way that it does not shine into neighboring properties. <br /> Native Veqetation Buffer: A 30 foot natural vegetation buffer was established in <br /> the recording of the final Short Subdivision #20-88. This buffer was established <br /> (o rnaintain signi(icant evergreen trees and natura! vegetation on the back of Lots <br /> 2, 3, 4, & 5. T1�is buffer was established per the Preliminary Approval dated <br /> Februa�y 9, 1998 and revised Determination of Non Significance SEPA #93-88. <br /> To further establish the native buffer the developer was required to provide <br /> additional rnrtigation planting. A planting plan was approved, installed, and <br /> inspected prior to final short subdivision.
