Meeting with David Brandvold on Propose`
Short Plat on Vista Place
Attending: Frank Bennett, David Brandvold, Reid Shockey, Wayne Kinrs
and Larry Callahan
Reid Shockey opened this meeting with a brief outline of several problems
that he saw in bringing iir. Brandvold's short plat to the Board of Adjust-
ment for a public hearing on December 2ad. He outlined the prob]ems as;
no sanitary sewers available to the plat, inadequate dedicated riglt-of-way
along the plat, the lots not meeting the 12, 500 sq. footage minimum should
septic tanks be installed, would the property perk, possible septic tank
leeching into the creek at the west end of the gully, and a proposed develop-
t b Wall Ross of adjacent property to the north of the short pl.at, as
questions could be resolved, j1¢u
Mr. Brandvold understood that 4900 5treet was inadequate and was willing ^ Q^' .
to deed the City a 13. 8 strip of properLy north of existing 13. 8 strip owned 1.`
by the City. He has had the property perked; however, he was unaware of;' -'1
the 12, 500 sq, footage minimum on lots requiring septic tanks and would yj. ,1tt
have to rearrange lot sizes. /c' ,C'`
General discussion vas held by all on the possiliility of changing lot con- ,_ {,;,Q
figurations to allow a corr'.:or which would project Vista Place fifty feet,
in width northerly to Woods Place. Mr. Brandvold felt this would cause
him to lose one lot. However, he did want to cooperate with the =ity and
went on to say that he understands \Vally Ross and Associates were planni
`Vith the rezoilz in mind, Ir. Brandvold said he vould proceed with con- ?'' '
struction of single hoine on Lot A using the Legal of the entire short plat
for tlie permit and not at this time have a hearing on the short piat. He
has formally withdrawn his request for a sluxpla-thearing on December 2nd.
