Attic access door is baffled, weatherstripped, and insulated. <br />NON-HEAT RECOVERY VENTILATION <br />l. Whole house ventilation fan is capable of exhausting 10 cfm from each <br />bedroom and 10 cfm from each combined living area (cfm rating = 10 x <br />(number of bedrooms + 1). <br />2 Whole house exhaust ventiiation fan has both automatic (timer clock or <br />dehumidistat) AND manual controls. <br />3. The whole house exhaust fan has a sone rating c= 2.5 or is remotely <br />located from conditioned space. <br />4. All exhaust fans or exhaust ducts have tight-fitting backdraft dampers. <br />5. Exhaust ductwork is sized according to plans and is insulated in <br />unheated spaces. <br />6. Each bedroom and combined living area has a through-the-wall port or <br />central ducted vent capable of providing 10 cfm or outside air. <br />7. Air intake ports are located away from potential sources of air or <br />noise pollution, and have adequate bird and bug screens. <br />8.
