The Uniform Building Ccde provides that all permits expire by <br />limitation if the work authorized by the permit is suspended or abandoned at any time afrer work <br />is cominenced for a period of 180 days. If you wish to prevent the permit from expiring without <br />documentation of completion, you may: <br />1) Request an inspection of work that has occurred, to document continuing progress, <br />or 2) Request final inspection if the work is c�mpleted, <br />or 3) Submit a written request for u 186 day extension. <br />Ple�se respond within 10 days. After that time the filc will be sent to our Records Department <br />for microfilming without final approval.
