Descrintion of Violation The accessory structure was buiit witliout the benefit of building permits. • SecHon 16.01.030 of the Everett city code adopts the 1997 editions of the Uniform Building Code and the Uniform Building Code Standazds, as amended by the Washington Administrative Code Section 51-40, except some portions tha4 have been deleted, modified or amended by Chapter 16.01 of the city code. • Uniform Building Code Section 103 states that it is unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to erect, construct, enlarge, alter, repair, move, improve, remove, convert or demolish, equip, use, occupy or maintain any building or sttuchue or cause or permit the same to be done in violation of the Uniform Building Code. • Uniform Building Code Section 106.1 states that permits are required when a structure is constructed, enlarged, altered, repaired, improved, converted or demolished unless specifically exempted by the Uniform Building Code. . Uniform Building Code Section 106.2('n specifies that only platforms and walks not more than 30 inches above grade are exempt from permits.
