The Uniform Building Code <br />provides that all pemuts expire b� limitation if the work authorized by the peanit is suspended or <br />abandoned at any time after work is commenced for a period of 180 days. If you wish to prevent <br />the permit from expiring without documentation of completion, you may: <br />1) Request an inspection of work that has occurred, to document continuing progress, <br />or 2) Request final inspection if the work is completed, <br />or 3) Submit a written request for a I80 day extension. <br />Please respond within 10 days.
