We did this to limit your cost but if you can, it would be better to extend it to protect the entire <br /> length of the bluff edge so that you will not have to come in at a later date and do additional remediation <br /> if there is additional erosion or backwastirg. <br /> The portion of the lot on the south side has had trees hlown down on the slope and the root balls esposed. <br /> The wind appears to funnel between the liomes and beat on the trees. While the retaining wall will not <br /> prevent damagc to thc remaining trees it will prctect the upper eoge of the slope from backwasting and <br /> erosion.
