The portable buildings are standard 28 x 64 foot double classrooms built to <br /> education codes for Washington and used in Everett schools. <br /> Issues: <br /> A. Articulation requiremenu every 60 feet. <br /> B. Sprinklers required if more than 6,000 square feet of area in a <br /> single bu�!ding. <br /> C. Landscap;r;g required related to permanent structures. <br /> D. Consi��iion of building and exterior fa4ade mate�ial. <br /> 2. The SPRUNG structure is an 88 x 120 foot open space with a peak height of <br /> 35 feet, ten inches. Many SPRUNG structures h��ve aeen installed as <br /> temporary and permanent buildings in Washingtan. <br /> Issues• <br /> A. Articulation requirements every 60 feet. <br /> B. Sprinklers are required due to the 10,560 square foot area. <br /> C. Height restriction of 35 feet requires a setback from residential <br /> boundaries. <br /> D. Landscaping required related to permanent structures. <br /> E. Construction of building and exterior fatade material. <br /> Discussion <br /> 1. Further review with representatives of the portable manufacturer and <br /> SPRUNG structure is needed for information collection related to code <br /> conformance. <br /> 2. The portable and SPRUNG structures could be considered as permanent for <br /> review purposes for ease of permitting and phasing. <br /> 3. The approval Phase I Multipurpose, Children's Wing, and Lobby permanent <br /> structures should be separated in the �eview process from the interim <br /> portable buildings and SPRUNG structure. <br /> 4. The portahle b��ldings and SPRUNG structure would then be considered a <br /> Phase 1.5 development. <br /> 5.
