2607 - 23rd St August 19, 1981 An inspection of the area revealed the bushes cut back from the sidewalk. The fence appears to be of regulation height and the debris taken away from the back yard. Quite an improvement. The fence was not given a thorough inspection because they have not called for one. Marian August 25, 1981 Ms. Parker called today and complained about the garbage cans placed'jeat to the fence in Mr. Ringman's yard. She said that the garbage was p' up and the odor was making her sick. She also complained about a refrigerator placed up against the fence next to her garage that could be seen from her front yard. She also did not like the cut wood between Mr. Ringman's garage and fence because it is a fire hazard. Ms. Parker talked for 20 minutes and I just listened. I finally explained to her that the Health Department would have to look at the garbage situation. I tried to explain that there wasn't anything we could do about the wood stacked u along the fence. The refrigerator is placed with the secured (tiedg door against the fence to prevent childrem from getting into it. Mr. Ringman did this after I found the refrigerator lying on the ground next to the sidewalk, door up. We discussed the matter and as far as I am concerned t%ie refrigerator is properly secured. I told Ms. Parker I would call the Nealth Department on the garbage can situation. August 27, 1981 Jerry Russell of the Health Department looked at the situation at Mr. Ringman's house and said that there was nothing that could be done concerning the location of the garbage cans. He said all of the cans had tight fitting lids with rocks placed on top of them and theie was no garbage spread around the area. During my inspection of the area I noted that the debris had been cleared away and the area looks much better. I called Mr. Ringman last week. He wasn't home so I left a message thanking him for his cooperation in this matter. Marian Dent 1_
