Shadowrock <br />Storm Water Detention Vault <br />DESIGN CRITERIA <br />Code: 2003 IBC (See Appendix Sheet A-1 for Wheel Loading) <br />Permitting Agency: City of Everett <br />Soil Cover: 24" depth over the entire vault <br />Lid Loading: Vactor truck wheel loading = 84,000 lb total vehicle weight. <br />Or uniform live load = 150 psf <br />Uniform live load not to act concurrently with the truck <br />wheel loading. <br />Foundation Design: <br />Foundation design is based on the following assumed values typical of the soil types <br />within this region: <br />Allowable Bearing Pressure: 3000 psf <br />Lateral Earth Pressures on Vault Walls: <br />At -Rest Condition: 50 pcf EFW (Drained Level Backfill) <br />Passive Soil Resistance: 350 pcf EFW <br />Coefficient of Base Friction: 0.4 <br />Saturated Soil Density: 125 pcf <br />Material Requirements: <br />Rebar: Grade 60 <br />Concrete: fc= 3000 psi <br />Lid: Cast in placed Concrete Lid. <br />N 11 <br />
