Klass Cro line Trending generally west to case, the earthwork contractor continued mass grading processes for the project's proposed sludge disposal area near the south end of Pacific Topsoil's Smith Island Facility. Utilizing a large dozer (136), the contractor placed upprosimately .5-I' of imported soil (bluish gray SILT to brownish gray silly SAND with few gravels). In addition, AESI noted that several trucks continual stockpiling soil near the SE comer of the proposed disposal facility. The contractor noted that as much of the imported soil appeared relatively wet upon arrival. no compaction processes would likely be completed today and the soil would be Ic0 out overnight to dry. AESI further recommended the contractor aerate the soil as necessary via wind rowing. The contractor will compact the spread soil tomorrow and requests AESI return to conduct density tests on the compacted fill material. See figure I for specific task location.
