Mass Gradine Prior to arrival, lbe eal.hwor:, contractor had continued stockpiling processes for (fie specified "biotic barrier layer" over the project's former sludge disposal area near the south end of Pacific "Topsoil's Smith Island Facility. AESI noted that a series of stockpiles had been placed near the soulhwcsl end of the project area. Further, AESI noted that an men immediately to the north of the stockpiles had been graded out into no approximately 6.8" loose lift. No compaction processes appeared to have been performed on the above noted material. The biotic barrier rock material, which appeared to come from two different sources as noted in prior reports, generally consisted of 1.25" screened rock. No representatives from the contractor were onsite/actively working the area at tittle of observation. See figure I for specific task location.
