Utilizing a large dozer and trending generally cast to wcat, the
contractor graded the arcs per plan and recompacted loosened/disturbed areas of soil via large vibratory roller. The rccompactcd soli (brown to
grayish brown silty SAND with trace to few gravel and trace deleterious debris) was probed, with the full weight of the observer o" a.5"
diameter steel T-probe, and proved firm/unyielding with average penetrations of 3". Additionally, AESI noted that the contractor had resumed
import of the specified "biotic" layer material (1 25" screened rock). The contractor's representative, Keith, noted that trucks would continue
hauling the biotic layer material throughout the week. See figure I for specific task location.
Drainage
No further work was completed on this task at time of visit.
COPIES TO: Distribution
FIELD REP.: Jon D.
