Engineer's acceptance of Construction Period Erosion/Sedimentation Control <br />Plan required prior to starting earth disturbing activities. <br />B. Complete soil preparation, seeding, fertilizing, mulching and matting within <br />10 days after final grades have been reached. <br />C. Notify Engineer at !east 3 days in advance of: <br />1. Materials delivery. <br />2. Start of planting activity. <br />D. Seeding: Perform under favorable weather conditions during seasons that are <br />normal for such Work as determined by accepted local practice. <br />1.5 MAINTENANCE <br />A. Operations: <br />1. Perform during maintenance period to include: <br />a. Watering: Keep seeded surface moist. <br />b. Washouts: Repair by filling with topsoil, fertilizing, seeding, and <br />mulching. <br />C. Mulch: Replace wherever and whenever washed or blown away. <br />d. Reseed unsatisfactory areas or portions thereof immediately at the <br />end of the maintenance period if a satisfactory stand has not been <br />produced. <br />C. Reseed entire area if satisfactory stand does not develop by <br />October 1. <br />2. Inspect, repair, and replace as necessary ail erosion control measures <br />during the time period from start of construction to completion of <br />construction. <br />PART PRODUCTS <br />2.1 FERTILIZER <br />A. Commercial, uniform in composition, free -flowing, suitable for application <br />with equipment designed for that purpose. <br />B. Hydroseed fertilizer shall have the following minimum percentage of plant <br />ood by weight: <br />1. Hydroseed Mix No. 1: <br />a.
