He also
showed me water damage on another area of the ceiling but it appeared to
be from a previous leak and had since been repaired as the ceiling in
that area, opposite the most recent damage, was dry.
Mr. Hulet then took me to the kitchen where he drew a glass of water
from the kitchen sink. The water was clear but Mr. Hulet said that it
was generally red and not fit for comsrmption. I advised Mr. Hulet that
I could not make that determinatiou, that the Health Officer was the
only one who could determine if the water was potable or not according
to the Uniform Housing Code which I enforce.
Mr. Hulet indicated that there were zoning problems and construction
problems and that he had talked with several city staff members in an
attempt to get these things corrected. Again, I advised him that I
w could not make any determination on these items, the other staff members
had to follow up on his complaints.
3462G
¢". . t
