� �� February 5, 1979 The regular meeting of the Everett Board of Adjustment was held at 7:00 p.m, in the Auditorium of Roosevelt School, located at Madison and Highland, Everett, t9A (trie temporary location of City Hall). Mr. Russell presided; Mr. Kristiansen, Mr. t4ilson, and A1r. Zook were present. Mr Black was absent, Mr, Russell introduced Mr, Wilson and Mr. Zook, the two new members to the Hoard, Their terms will expire January 1, 1985. Mr. Russell read a reguest from Mr. Peterson who asked for a 120 day extension of his variance which was qranted Piarch 6, 1978. He was granted the 120 day 2xtension which will expire July 6, 1979. A thirty (30) day extension unt�l March 5, 1979 was also gr.anted to �ol�ie F.rickson whose nroperty is locat�d at 1801 Wall Street. A hearing was held on the application of Northshore Construction Inc, 6308 - 212 SW Lynnwood, Ta?'� 98036 for a variance from Section 19.22.050 of the Everett Municipal Code, Minimum Lot Size, for pei,nission to construct a r.iultiple dwelling on a lot with 4,000 scruare feet of land area rather.than the code reauirement of 5,000 sauare feet of land area. Legal Description: Lots 9& 10 Block 741 Everett Land Company's first ac?dition Location: 32nd & Lombard, Northeast corner (approximatelV 3129 Lombardi Zoning: R-5 Core Area Residential Mr. Scott represented Northshore Construction Inc. and made the statement they would be providing tcoo additional off street parking sDaces above the rectuired amount. There was some opposition to the granting of the variance and the reasons were as follows: 1. Parking in this area is a problem and the proposed fourplex would increase that problem. 2, It is a sub standard lot and this oroposal would be cuttinq down the land area too much. There was a letter submitted to the chairman statinq disa�oroval of the proposal and a petition with Eourteen (lA) siqnatures, bv the surrounding neighbors, opposing the request.was also submitte�9 to the Chairman. There was no further commznt from the audience, After visually viewing the subject property and considerina all the facts and testimony it was moved by P4r, Kristiansen, seconded by t9r.
