Copies of <br />the last inspections are enclosed. The Uniform Building Code provides that all permits expire by <br />limitation if the work authorized by the permit is suspended or abandoned at any time after work is <br />commenced for a period of 180 days. If you wish to prevent the permits from expiring without <br />doounentation of completion, you may- <br />1) Request inspections of work that has occurred, to document continuing progress, <br />or 2) Request final inspections of the work that is completed, <br />or 3) Submit a written request for a 180 day extension. <br />Please provide the permit number when requesting inspections or extensions. Please respond within <br />10 days. After that time the file will be sent to our Records Department for microfilming without <br />final approval.
