Dust suppression and atreet cleaninq <br />must occur as directed by the Public Works Inspector. The <br />Waehinqton State Clean 1►ir Act requires the use of all knorn, <br />available, and reasonable means of controlling air pollution, <br />includinq dust. Duat qenerated durinq construction activities <br />can be controlled by wetting those dust sourcea such aa areas of <br />expoaed soils, washinq truck wheels before they leave the site, <br />and inetalling and maintaining qravel construction entrances. <br />Construction vehicle track-out is also a major dust source. l�r►y <br />evidance of track-out can triqger violations and Pines from the <br />Department of Ecology or the Pugef Sound air Pollution Control <br />1►qency. Section 35 requires <br />Type IV lanclscapinq. Type IV :.andscapinq consiata of lawn or <br />other liviaq groundcover, shrubs and trees with a root structure <br />which stabilizes soil where necessary to prevent erosion or <br />sedimentation. <br />3.
