SECTION 01380 <br />CONSTRUCTION PHOTOGRAPHY <br />PART 1- GENERAL <br />1.01 DESCRIPTION <br />The Contractor will be required to photograph and videotape the Site and furnish photographic <br />prints with associated negatives and key maps to Resident Engineer. These photographic and <br />video products will be used for purposes of documenting the Site. <br />1.02 QUALITY CONTROL <br />A. Photos and videotapes shall be performed by a person or entity regularly engaged in the <br />performance of construction photo documentation. <br />B. Pre -construction Photographs <br />1. One negative and two 5" by 7" prints for each photograph. Set shall contain sufficient <br />photographs showing pre -construction condition of entire Site within 50 feet outside the <br />limits of the Work. <br />2. Enclose prints, back-to-back, in a double-faced 8-5/8" by 11" mylar plastic sheet <br />protector punched to fit standard three-ring binders. <br />3. Enclose negatives in an envelope upon which Contract name and number, photograph <br />numbers, date of photographs, Contractor's name, and name of photographer or <br />photography company has been typewritten. <br />4. Key map depicting camera's line -of -sight for each photo location. <br />5. Attach a photograph log sheet for each set of photos that contains the same information <br />as is attached to the back of each photograph. <br />C. Pre -construction Videotaping <br />1. Provide one original and one copy of videotape in ''/z" VHS format to illustrate the Site <br />prior to the commencement of any construction activities. The pre -construction video <br />shall be approximately 20-30 minutes in length and shall document all areas within the <br />limits of the Work as well as within 50 feet outside the limits. <br />2. Enclose videotape in an envelope with Contract name and number, a log of shots taken <br />for video, the dales shot, Contractor's name and name of video photographer or <br />company. Video taping to have time and date on or within picture image and frame. <br />3. Include a title sequence which shows the area filmed on a map and gives titles to the <br />shots. <br />4.
