This brief report should be used in <br />conjunction with the earlier Milbor-Pita & Associates, Inc. report dated 25Aug99. <br />Background <br />To answer the above questions, more data was required over the entire project site. This <br />data needed to be focused on the upper near surface soils. The previous borings did evaluate <br />the overall geologic conditions of the site, but did not obtain enough specific data on the <br />upper 5 feet of the site's existing soil. <br />Also, no data was available on the pavement thickness or the soil conditions immediately <br />beneath the existing pavement sections at or near the site. Asa result, the field investigation <br />was structured so that data could be obtained in these areas. <br />Figure A-l.
