The [nternational Building Code and the International <br />Residential Code state that all permits expire if thc work authorized by the permits is suspended <br />or abandoned for a period of 180 days aftcr the work is commenced. Work under this pe�mit <br />�vill no longer be auUiorized unless you: <br />1) Dentonstrate contintting progress by requesting inspection of work that has occurred since <br />your last inspection, or <br />2) Request final inspections of the work that is completed, or <br />3) Submit a written requcst for a 180 day cxtension, detailing juslifiable cause for extension. <br />Pleasc respond within 10 days. After that time your permit filc will be sent to our Records <br />Dcpartment for microfilming without documentation of final approval. These records are <br />available to prospeclive Uiryers and Iending institutions. If you wish to resumc work �n thc <br />Cuture, a ncw pemiit must be obtained.
