Items 1, 5, 8 a�d 9(stainvay issues) are dealt with in 2 pages of detail drawings in plen and section view, alonc� with 4 spec�cation sheets provided by Northwest Stair and Rail, the manuFacturer of our staircase. We would like to keep the seledion of matenals for our safety rails open at ;his time Depending on budget, we will either have Northwest Stair and Rail manuFacture matchiny metal railings attach 7o Floor/exterior walis/and the staircase or we frame our ovm wood rail/half-wall guardrail. Ilems 2 and 4(insulation, double doors) are described in lhe Grcund Floor Extenor Wall - Insulation Pla�i. We plan on doing ail insulation on the intenor, mosl likely using solid insulation on the inside of the concrete walls and bari insulation in the studded area above them. The concrete wails have several steps in height along the long length of the house, ranging from 18" to over 6'. The soulh wall is full height conaete. This plan also shows where we will frame in a sel of exterior code french doors (or maybe sliding doors) just inside the existing old garage doors. Item 3(thickened slab) shows ihe thiGcened slab in a Foundation Plan, along with a couple of new footings the will be required to support the beam that we are moving to make space for the spiral stairs. The plan also shows location of beams, both existing (that will stay) and new/moved. Item 6(porch, bedroom 3 egress) is descnbed on a separate page — Eqress Area for Bedroom #3. It shows the current configuration and space under the kitchen porchlstairs and placement of the new •.vindow. Parch and siairs will be brought up to current code. item 7, 10 and 11 (space use, windQws, smoke alarms) are described in separate Ground Floor - �loor Plan. Tliis drawing should aid in separating out the intericx walis to be built along with windows, space use and smoke alarms. We hope that these items will satisfy your request for corrections.
