Unflniahed and cumpleted work shall ba protected 6om domage <br />by xosion or trespassfng, and proper safeguards shall be p!otected from <br />damage by arasion or trespassing, and prap� safeguards shall be erected <br />to protect the Public. <br />3. Irrigation Plan is drawn (or graphic clority. Adjust pipe, vaives and <br />sprinkler heads according to field conditions and plant locations. <br />Caord'mate location of Valve Boxes with Owner. Install no more than two <br />autanatic valvea per box. <br />4. Contractor ahall verify all dimensions, quantitiea, ovailable water <br />preasure and volumn, locations, sleeving and canditiona prior to bidding <br />and stort of installation. Irriq�tfon design assumes 75 psf available water <br />presaure and a 1' service line. <br />5. Contractor will exerciae profeasional judgement in location, height, and <br />siope of sprinkler heads. Systmn not to be aperated during perfods of <br />high wind. <br />6. Pipfnq shown in paralld may be installed in common trench. <br />7. Malnline PVC aholl be Schedule 40, buried at a mfnfmum 24' depth. <br />Lateral PVC pipe shoil be 5ohedule 40 and be buried at a min, 18° <br />depth. Minimum pipe size is 3/4'. <br />8. AII valve equipment shall be piaced in valve boxes. <br />9. �eeving shall be 4" dia. Schedule 4Q PVC. Extend sleeve 6' past <br />the edge of concrete flatwork/walis, <br />10. Place aprinkler heads 2" from edge of walks, and 12' from walls. <br />11. System ie designed fw winterization with compressed air. Do not <br />use outamatic drafn valves. Install manual drain valves on Mainline in low <br />paints to faclltate drainage and repairs. Drains shall empty into grovd <br />sumps (min. 3' cu.ft.) at a 45 degree angle. <br />12. Prior ta backflling, the �lainline shall be subJected to a hydrastatic <br />pressure test of 150 psi. To be valid, all tests must be pre(ormed under <br />the direction and supervision of authorized persannel.
