No building permit or right-of-way use permit appears to <br />have been taken out for this work. Our department is currently reviewing this <br />construction to determine if the use would be allowed in the right-of-way. In the <br />interim, it appears that the railing on the deck does not meet the uniform building code <br />with regards to spacing. An excerpt from the building code is enclosed to assist you in <br />correcting this safety infraction. <br />Please review the code and correct the problem as soon as possible.
