<br />supervising architect. If any, strikes, lockouts, picketing, shortages of labor or materials, changes made by or other
<br />acts of the Owner, rile, earthquake, acts of GQd, delay in transportation, or any cause beyond the Contractor's
<br />control.
<br />5. Unless otherwise provided herein, the Owner agrees to make payments a the work progresses, on monthly
<br />or semi. monthly estimates furnished by the Contractor, of the value of the labor and materials incorporated in the
<br />work ard:hc materials stored as the site thereof, a:.! to make final payment upon completion of the construction.
<br />If after work has been substantially completed, ft.il completion thereof Is delayed through no fault or the
<br />Contractor, the Owner steal; make payment of the balance due for all work as performed to date. Al the option of
<br />the Owner, the last or final payment, however. Mall not became due until the Contractor furnishes receipts or
<br />certifies that all labor and mulcrial for which a hen could be filed have been paid. The making and acceptance of the
<br />final payment shall constitute a waiver orall cluims by the Owner, other than 1 . e arising from unsettled liens or
<br />from faulty work ap.,carin j within one ywr from date of completion.
<br />6. In the event of any delays caused by the Owner or if any extra work or changes not included in the plans,
<br />drawings or specifications, altering, adding to or deducting from the structural or mechanical details of the work
<br />specified herein, Is ordered by Owner, the contract time unit price shall be equitably adjusted.
<br />7. The Contractor agrees to comply with, and make all payments required when due, under Workmen's
<br />Compensation Laws. Unemployment Compensation Acts, gild Social Security Acts, and to furnish the Owner with
<br />evidence of such compliance when so requested, and Also agrees to comply with all applicable builling laws and
<br />regulations.
