c <br />� <br />FINDINGS AND DECISION <br />OF THE HEARING EXAMINER OF THE <br />CITY OF EVERETT <br />IN THE IVIATTER OF THE APP�ICATION <br />OF MORRIE TRAUTMAN FOR APPROVAL <br />OF A REVIEW PROCESS III #01-001 <br />DECISIQN: The requested exceptions to allow <br />construction of a 936 square foot detached <br />garage with an attached 110 square foot <br />shed and an 80 square foot covered entry <br />are granted subject to the conditions as <br />I;sied herein. <br />INTRODUCTION <br />Morrie Trautman (Applicant), 816 - 35th Street, Everett, Wf� 98201 (subject <br />property) requested approvai of exceptions to the Everett Zoning Code to allow <br />construction of a 936 squa�e foot detached garage with an attached 110 squa�e <br />foot shed and an SO square foot covered entry. Everett Municipal Code (�� 7�j <br />19.7.020.B limits the combined square footage of all detached accessory <br />buildings to 1,000 square feet, and EMC 19.7.020.H limits the height to a <br />maximum of 15 feet unless otherwise approved by the Hea�ing Examiner per <br />EA4C 19.7.02U.K. The height of the detached garage is projected to be 20.5 <br />feet and the �ombined square footage is 1,046 square feet. The Applicar: <br />seeks exceptions from both the height standard and the ar�a standard. <br />A hearing was held before the Hearing Examiner of the Ciq� of Everett on April <br />19, 2001.
