These comments address building issues only. Additional revisions, or additions, may be required by other departments (such as Utilities, Planning or Fire). All references refer to the 1997 Uniform Building Code, as amended by the State of Washington and/or Washington State Energy Code. 2001 Edition, unless stated otherwise. In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to provide the Building Division with two complete new sets of drawings retlecting the corrections requested. 1. The draft stop locations on Sheet A2do not appear to meet the spacing requirement and area requirements of UBC 708.3.1.13. Also, the construction method should be included in the plans. 2. The requirement for safety gl:izing in hazardous locations should be included in the plans. UBC 2406.4. Please prepare a response letter showing where each item in this correction letter is addressed on the plan set. Upon resubmittal of the drawings, your appiication will be given prioriry and plan review will recommence. All required submittals shall be of;;ufficient detail and contain sufficient information to ensure that the proposed structure will be constivcted in compliance with all adopted codes.
