The rretland ia formed in a low <br /> depreasion whlch appeara to receive aurfac� water drainage from <br /> adjacent uplands. Due to ite urban location and emall aize, this <br /> sretland providea only limited s�etland funetional values. Without an <br /> outlet, this wetland provi�es recharge hydrologic functione only. As <br /> deeignated in the South Everett Drainage Baeins Plan, Baeina Plan <br /> Report Number 2, the project aite liee within the Silver Lake drainage <br /> baein. In accordance with City of �rerett policies, filliag of <br /> wetlande in the Silver Lark basin is prohibited, even if mitigation for <br /> yietlanda impacta through creation of compeneatory wetlands is proposed. <br /> 16 The City of Everett haa approved a reductioa in the wetlande buffer <br /> � area fram 35 feet to 31 feet on the west aide of the wetland.
