Drainaqe Calculations for
Richard A. Johnson property
The calculation of release rate and detention storage volune are
based on the entire 0.57 acre davalopment area, usinq the City of
Everett tables. This resulte in a cunservative design, since
there will also be saae attenuation of the runoff peak flow froa
routing the roof drain through the wetland. It is probable that
some or all the roof runoff will be retained, depending on the
capacity of the wetland and surrounding upland soils.
It is noted that the discharge to the wetland is a point release.
The finish floor elevation of building 1, the cover requirenent
over the pipa, and the requirement to mantain some slope on the
pipe conbine to drive the invert of the outlet down to elevation
565.3. This prever.ts the use of a dispersal system to spread the
flows on the surface. FYon field inspection of the ditch where
the discharqe is proposad, and of the surface adjacent and abova
it, there appears to be no lost benefit from using a point
releasa.
Drainaqe calculations follow:
 f
r

e
, f
C(t
I
 I

..',„'._..
