These comments address building issues only. Additional revisions, or additions, <br /> may be required by other departments (such as Utilities, Planning or Fire). All references <br /> refer to [he 2003 Intemaiional Building Code, as amended by the State of Washington <br /> and/or Washington State Energy Code, 2001 Edition, unless stated otherwise. <br /> In order Por the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to <br /> provide the Building Division with two complete new sets of drawings reflecting the <br /> corrections requested. <br /> LIFE SAFETY <br /> 1. A one-hour fire resistance rating is required for all exterior walls within 30 feet of a <br /> property line per Table 602. This requirement should be fulfilled at the time of the <br /> shell permit. <br /> 2. Please provide a window schedule. <br /> STRUCTURAL <br /> 1. As we discussed by phone, you may want to revise the gage of the studs and tracks. <br /> 2. The shear wall schedule should include the requirement for flat-head self-drilling <br /> tapping screws w ith a minimum head diameter of.292 inch (Smm). <br /> 3.
