These camments address building issues only. Additional <br /> revisions, or additions, may be required by other departments (such as Utilities, <br /> Planning or Pire). All references refer to the 2003 International Building Code, as <br /> amended by the State of Washington and adopted by the Ciry of Everett and the <br /> Washington State Energy Code, 2004 Edition, unless stated othenvise. <br /> In order for the processing of your application to continue, it wil! be necessary to <br /> provide the Building Division with two complete new sets of drawings retlecting <br /> the corrections requested. <br /> 1. Assuming the exit door between the office and the sprinkler room has a closer, <br /> 12" of maneuverability clearance is required on the latch side. ANSI A117.1, <br /> Sec. 404. <br /> 2. The restroom sign is required to have tactile lettering and characters in <br /> acccrdance with ANSI A117.1, 703.3. If the sign is on the door, the door <br /> needs a closer and no hold-open services. Sec. 703.3.11. <br /> 3. All restroom grab bars, fixtures and dispensers should be dimensionally <br /> located in the plans. Sidewall grab bars are required to extend a minimum of <br /> 54" out from the back wall. Sec. 604.5.1. Rear wall grab bars are required <br /> to be a minimum of 36" long. Sec. 604.5.2. The edge of the sink is required <br /> to be a minimum of 60" from the sidewall of the water closet.
