These comments <br /> address building issues or,.ly. Additional revisions or additions may be required by other departments <br /> (such as Utilities, Planning or Fire). All references reFer ro the 2003 International Building Code, as <br /> amended by the State of�Vashington and/or the Washington State Energy Code, 2003 edition, unless <br /> noted otherwise. <br /> This review does not cover submitted mechanical, sprinkler, electrical or plumbing documents—these <br /> permits must be obtained separately and may require further review and submission of plans. i <br /> i <br /> In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to provide the <br /> Building Division with two complete new sets of drawings ref7ecfing the corrections requested. <br /> 1. The plans were received after July 1, 2004. The 2003 International Building Code is now in <br /> effect for the City of Everett and the project should be designed to this code. <br /> 2. It is assumed that there will be no children less than 30 months old in the daycare as for an E � <br /> Occupancy. Otherwise the occupancy will be I-4 and additional comments may apply. <br /> 3. Separate toilet facilities should be provided for each sex. Section 29023.1 <br /> 4. The unused door should not be locked from the inside for egress. If a door is not desired, it <br /> may be covered in an approve manner(please detail), removed or provided with a panic device <br /> (and no exterior hardware). Section 1008.1 <br /> 5. Illumination emergency power should be suppfied for the interior exit discharge elements and <br /> the portion of exterior exit discharge immediately adjacent to the exit discharge doorways. <br /> Section 10063 <br /> 6. Exit signs should be shown on the plans (illuminated and tactile;. The illumination source for <br /> the signs should be hardwired and provided with a back up power source.
